Non-Motor

Step 1

Make a police report within 24 hours for the following types of claims*:

  • Incidents where there is evidence of a criminal act
  • Involving foreign workers’ compensation due to fatal/motor accidents, (loss of) money, personal accident or public liability

Step 2

Prepare all required supporting documents

Kindly note that the following list of required documents may not be exhaustive. You may talk to us regarding your claims by writing in to us.

 

Step 3

Kindly notify us through one of the following channels below:

  • Submit your claim online or,
  • Head over to any of our
  • Zurich General Insurance branches with completed claim form and other supporting documents or,
  • Talk to your respective servicing agent.

*Disclaimer: We may also request the police report for claims which are not listed above if deemed necessary.

Motor

Own Damage

Step 1

  • Call our 24-hour Roadside Assistance at 1-300-88-6222 to help you on getting your vehicle to any authorised or panel workshop
  • Take photos of the accident scene.
  • Make police report within 24 hours.

 

Step 2

Submit all required documents to the authorised or panel workshop within 7 days from the date of incident.

  • Police Report
  • Copy of Insured’s and / or Driver’s Driving License
  • Copy of Insured’s Identity Card or Business Registration Card
  • Copy of Driver’s Identity Card
  • Copy of Vehicle Registration Card or Vehicle Ownership Certificate
  • Copy of Policy Schedule or Cover Note (for workshop’s verification)

Sign on the Zurich claim form provided to you by our panel workshop.

 

Step 3

Upon receipt of full documents, the authorised or panel workshop will submit your claim to Zurich for processing within 3 working days*

You may check your claim status here (for Private Cars and Commercial Vehicles only).

 

Step 4

Look forward to receiving an SMS at the point of successful registration and approval. 

The authorised or panel workshop will contact you as soon as your vehicle is ready for collection.

Theft

Step 1

Make a police report within 24 hours.

 

Step 2

Submit all required documents to any Zurich General Insurance branch within 7 days from the date of incident.

  • Duly completed and signed Theft Claim Form
  • Police Report
  • Copy of Insured’s and / or Driver’s Driving License
  • Copy of Insured’s Identity Card or Business Registration Card
  • Copy of Driver’s Identity Card
  • Copy of Vehicle Registration Card or Vehicle Ownership Certificate

 

Step 3

  • Upon receipt of full documents, Zurich will be in touch with you as part of the processing procedures.
  • For Agreed Value policy, we shall get back to you on the claim decision within 21 working days*.
  • For Non Agreed Value policy, this shall be within 48 working days*

 

Note: We may request for additional documents or information if further investigation is required.

*Subject to the outcome of the investigation.

Windscreen

Step 1

Prepare all required documents before proceeding to our recommended authorised or panel workshop / windscreen specialist.

  • Copy of Insured’s and / or Driver’s Driving License
  • Copy of Insured’s Identity Card or Business Registration Card
  • Copy of Driver’s Identity Card
  • Copy of Vehicle Registration Card or Vehicle Ownership Certificate
  • Copy of Policy Schedule or Cover Note (for workshop’s verification)

 

Step 2

  • Sign the Zurich claim form provided to you by our authorised workshop / windscreen specialist.

 

Step 3

Note: Duly completed and signed Windscreen Claim Form is required for submission if your vehicle is sent to the non-panel workshop.

*Subject to the availability of the parts.
